1984 is set in its own dystopian vision of our world, and bringing this world to the stage required meany bespoke prop builds.

I designed graphics for the 'party issue' packaging of food items, some of which required 100 repeats for the run of the show.

​

I worked closely with the actors and stunt choreographer to make the torture equipment and quick release restraints including the infamous 'rat cage mask'.

​

All props sourced had to sit within the stylized world created on stage. 

​

I also constructed the scale model box  for the production designer Megan Wilkinson.
