1984 is set in its own dystopian vision of our world and bringing this world to the stage required meany bespoke prop builds.

I designed uniform graphics for the 'party issue' packaging of food items, some of which required 100 repeats for the run of the show.

I worked closely with the actors and stunt choreographer to make the torture equipment and quick release restraints including the infamous 'rat cage mask'.

All props sourced had to sit within the stylized world created on stage.
